Bravoflex

Bravoflex is transport service that you can reserve in advance. It is a van or taxi with no set route or times. You will be picked up at a bus stop near you. You will then be taken to the nearest transfer stop. That is a larger bus stop from which you can easily continue your journey, for example: De Tol in Sleeuwijk, Rijksweg A27 in Nieuwendijk, Rijksweg A27 in Hank or De Kromme Nol in Wijk en Aalburg.

Do you live in a village where there is no regular bus service? In that case, there is a special Bravoflex stop in your village. You will be picked up there. You must reserve your trip at least 1 hour in advance.

Who is it for?

Anyone can travel on Bravoflex.

When does Bravoflex run?

  • Monday to Saturday: 07.00 a.m. to midnight
  • Sundays and public holidays: 08.00 a.m. to midnight

Where does Bravoflex run?

  • To transfer stops or another bus stop
  • Maximum 25 kilometres per trip

How do you arrange a trip?

  • Book no later than 1 hour in advance.
  • Call 088 -350 3500
  • Or via the app on your phone. The app is called "Deeltaxi West Brabant.

What does it cost?

  • You pay a fixed price to a transfer stop
  • If an ordinary bus also runs, the price is sometimes a little higher 

How do you pay?

  • If you book by phone: you pay by PIN with the driver
  • If you book via the app: you pay directly via iDeal
  • OV chip card, season tickets and discount passes are not valid

Good to know

  • Walkers and wheelchairs are allowed
  • Pets and assistance dogs are allowed

AutoMaatje

Volunteers use their own cars to drive elderly and people with health problems who cannot travel by themselves. AutoMaatje is an initiative of the ANWB.

Who is it for?

For senior citizens and people with health problems who have no other form of transport. You do not need to be a member of ANWB.

When does AutoMaatje go?

By arrangement, if a volunteer is available.

Where it runs

For example, a trip to the doctor, physical therapist, paying a visit, getting a haircut or shopping or visiting family or friends. Transport is door-to-door.  

How do you arrange a trip?

  • Call at least 2 days in advance: 0183 - 745260 (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 09.00 a.m.-12 p.m.)

What does it cost?

  • Flat fee per kilometer (from the driver's home)
  • Parking fees are added
  • You will be told the price in advance

How do you pay?

In cash to the driver after the trip.

Good to know

What can be taken on the trip depends on the volunteer driver and their type of car. Do you have a wheelchair (it must be foldable), walker, assistance dog or other pet? Discuss this in advance.

Deeltaxi West-Brabant

Door-to-door taxi up to 25 kilometers for people entitled to WMO transport.

Who is it for?

This is for people entitled to Wmo transport through the local authority.

When does the shared taxi run?

Every day from 7 a.m. to midnight. 

Where it goes

The shared taxi can take you anywhere up to 25 kilometers (one way) from your point of departure. Do you want to travel further than 25 kilometers? This is only possible for a visit to the hospital. You can travel to these hospitals: Gorinchem, 's-Hertogenbosch, Waalwijk, Tilburg, Oosterhout or Breda.

Shared taxi travel area

The travel area for is divided into two parts: the inner area and the outer area. Each shared taxi trip begins or ends in the inner area. That means you cannot travel between two places in the outer area. Nor can you travel to places outside the overall travel area.

What does it cost?

You pay for each trip:

  • a fixed amount to board
  • plus an amount per kilometer driven

The price is based on the shortest route by road between your starting point and your destination.

Good to know

  • One medical companion travels free of charge
  • One non-medical companion travels at a discount
  • A walker or wheelchair is allowed (if it fits in the car boot)
  • Assistance dogs and small pets are allowed. Please indicate this when booking.
  • You will not be alone in the taxi. Other people can also join the taxi. Sometimes the taxi stops along the way to pick someone up or drop them off. You may spend a little longer travelling as a result.
  • Valys may arrive 15 minutes earlier or later than the time you agreed to.
  • Tip: Ask to have the driver call you 5 minutes in advance. That way, you will know when to be ready.

Valys

Valys is door-to-door transport service for people who cannot travel long distances independently due to a disability and have, for example, a WMO pass or disabled parking card. Valys is there for trips over 25 kilometers (one way). 

Who is it for?

  • You have a disability and
  • a WMO transport pass, disabled parking card, public transport companion card or statement from the local authority.
  • You will need a Valyspas (apply for one at www.valys.nl).

When does Valys travel?

Every day between 6 a.m. and 1 a.m.

Where it goes

You can go anywhere with the Valys. For example, to the hospital, family, a birthday or restaurant visit.

How do you arrange a trip?

  • Book at least 1 day in advance
  • Call: 0900 - 9630 (every day from 06:00 - 01:00)

What does it cost?

  • Fixed kilometre rate up to 700 km per year
  • After that, the rate becomes higher
  • Current prices:  Valys

How do you pay?

You do not pay in the taxi. The charges are automatically debited from your bank account. This is how it works: when you apply for a Valyspas, you give permission once for the money to be debited from your bank account. After that, you don't have to do anything yourself. You will receive regular account statements. In the statement you will see:

  • Which trips you have taken
  • How many kilometers you have left in your Valys budget

Good to know
